Moblie Photography
My class started a new project called 'Mobile Photography' where we had to capture photos with our IPad or mobiles. In our project we visited Manchester City Centre where we traveled all over, using all building and beautiful sights of Manchester. While we was in Manchester miss put us in groups, given us a colour and challenged us to moved around the location and capture pictures of things that was our chosen colour, my colour was Yellow. I got quite a lot of different types of photos around Manchester with the colour yellow in them.
On our trip we also visited the Cathedral, it was so amazing all the beautiful colours and posh things, it was perfect for our project. I took a lot of special pictures inside and outside.
When I was in Manchester i took photos of a lot of amazing view that i didn't even know was in my hometown I traveled
all over the place and captured a lot of interesting pictures. I took a lot of pictures on building and people just like a street photographer.
I focus on different people, such as homeless people, my class mates, shadows and the people of the public.

I think these 4 photos are more street photography style due to the fact they are pictures of the public and different life styles such as homeless, school children and general people of the public.
Editing apps
It is my all time favorite app, I love editing thing on this. Reasons being I think the app makes the photos look more professional and better. There are opinions of different filters so there is a lot of choose for different photos. My faviourite edit on VSOCCAM is 'C1' this make your photo more intresting. Unlike instgram you cannot upload your photos but can save them in your photo album.
Instagram is an app uses on Iphones/Ipads. It had a lot of different fliters. On instagram before you upload your photo on the page you can choose a fliter to make your picture stand out more and more better. Once you have choosen your faviourite fliter and your happy with it,you can upload for all your friends to see, comment and like. On instgram you use hashtags to get more likes showing your intrested in differnt things. For example #photography #fun #GCSE #weebly.
Ronya Walka
Originally from Germany, photographer Ronya Galker moved to London in the early 90's and has been capturing life on London’s streets ever since. The city inspires and fascinates her. Out of its chaos, she finds beauty and personality, moments of joy, solitude, love and despair. Personally i like Ronya's work due to how original it is and how down to earth and simple it is.
This is ultimately my favorite picture that Ronya has captured. I like this picture because it had good focus and has been taken at an interesting angle.
By looking at Roynas work i was able to recreate some of the photos taken. I used props and my family memebers to model for me. I used umberella's like Royna in my pictures. Also i edited my pictures to black and white on instagram to create an effect like Royna.

Research: Elliott Erwitt
A specialist of black and white photography, Elliott Erwitt loves to take candid photographs. Also known as “The master of the ‘indecisive moment’”, Erwitt believes that taking pictures is easy but to find something worthwhile needs a good eye. Elliott Erwitt is an advertising and documentary photographer known for his black and white candid shots of ironic and absurd situations within everyday settings.
"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."

Personally I really like Elliotts work. I like the way he has edited his pictures in black and white causing them to give an effect of the olden day life.
One of my favourite photographs
This is my favorite photo due to the lighting and angle. I think this photo is quite warming. I like the way all the picture is in focus and how the statue is in darkness, this adds effect to the picture like the statue is looking over you. Also the pink effect on the bottom left corner really creates a warm feeling and the trees as there hands grab the big wheel making it scary like the trees or working for the dark evil statue, this picture creates a story. I like the way the picture doesn't need no filter to look professional and interesting.
My most successful photograph
I think the use of black and white in this image enhances the picture, the photograph itself is an excellent example of how you can document everyday life using a camera. The models are my two little cousins; they gave me a great insight into how to organise a photoshoot and place models exactly where I wanted them, it was a steep learning curve but the end result was worth it.
